Author Guidelines
Authors submitting their works to Tempora: Journal of Management must adhere to the following guidelines.
Manuscript Language and Content
The manuscript must be written in English or Indonesian and include study findings, field research, literary research, theoretical analyses, and articles on management-related phenomena and issues.
Manuscript Format
- The manuscript must be prepared on A4 paper using Microsoft Word.
- It should contain 6,000-7,000 words, formatted in Times new roman, size 10 pts, with 1.15 spacing.
- The file must be saved in .docx (Microsoft Word Document) or .rtf (Rich Text Format) format, except when otherwise noted in the journal template (please see the template for further instructions).
Manuscript Structure
1. Title
- The title must be clear, concise, and informative, with a maximum of 14 words.
- Abbreviations should be avoided whenever possible.
2. Author Name(s)
- The author(s)'s name(s) must be written without academic degrees.
- Below the name, the institutional affiliation should be stated.
- If multiple authors contribute to the manuscript, the editor will communicate only with the principal or first author.
- The corresponding author’s email address must be included.
3. Abstract
- The abstract should be written in both English and Indonesian.
- The length should be 250-300 words.
- It should include research objectives, methods, and findings.
- Keywords should be between 3-5 words.
4. Introduction
- The introduction should present background information, research topics, and research questions or hypotheses.
- A literature review may be included to highlight the research gap being addressed.
- The research objectives must be clearly stated at the end of the introduction.
5. Research Methods
- The methodology should be clearly described, including the research design, data collection techniques, and justification for method selection.
6. Results and Discussion
- The results should be presented clearly with tables, figures, and analyses when necessary.
- The discussion can include several sub-sections to comprehensively explore the research findings within the management discipline.
7. Conclusion and Suggestions
- The conclusion should directly answer the research questions.
- The study findings should be based on valid research data and should not merely repeat the discussion.
- Suggestions should propose further research directions based on the study’s conclusions.
8. References
- All references cited within the manuscript must be listed in the bibliography.
- References should be sourced from primary sources published within the last five (5) years, except for fundamental literature (e.g., classic management theories).
- 80% of references should come from scientific journal articles, while the remaining 20% can include books, conference papers, government policies, and unpublished scientific works (research reports, theses, and dissertations only).
- Non-scientific references (e.g., YouTube videos, podcasts) must be justified in the Research Methods or Results and Discussion sections.
- The reference list should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition citation style.
- References should be arranged alphabetically.
- It is mandatory to use reference management software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.
- Every cited work must appear in the References section—the editor will omit any listed references that are not cited in the manuscript.
By following these guidelines, authors can ensure that their submissions align with the editorial standards of Tempora: Journal of Management.
